WWE's Big E threw his neck brace in the trash in a video posted to social media on Monday.

In a post to his Instagram story, Big E threw away the brace that he has worn since suffering a broken neck on the March 11 episode of WWE SmackDown.

The video marks the first update that Big E has provided in over a month as he continues to recover from the neck injury. At last report, he stated that his C1 vertebrae was "not healing optimally" and that he would spend an additional four to six weeks wearing the brace as he hoped to avoid spinal fusion surgery.

Big E suffered the broken neck in a tag team match on SmackDown, taking an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland on the floor. He suffered broken C1 and broken C6 vertebrae in the spot, and said that he narrowly avoided paralysis, stroke, and even death in the incident.
