Though the couple isn’t seeing eye-to-eye on the topic of Usman taking multiple wives, Kim and Usman still enjoy spending time together and sat down for a lunch of pepper catfish on a recent episode.
During their meal, Kim and Usman had a productive conversation about their relationship, but fans were distracted by the questionable sandals Usman had on his feet. In a Reddit thread started by user celine-star, fans couldn’t resist cracking jokes about Usman’s odd choice of footwear—especially since he views himself as a rap superstar with swagger to spare. Commenters joked about the shoes being “Air Usmans” and compared them to “old man orthopedic sandals.” Though some 90 Day Fiancé fans were quick to crack wise about the shoes being “the new Yeezys!,” some fans were initially concerned, as the sneakers-turned-sandals also looked like foot casts at first glance. “I thought he had 2 broken feet….then realized they were just sandal sneakers?” another commenter admitted.

The unpopular kicks are available for just over 60 dollars and are described on the Tech Wear Club website as “Futuristic Cyberpunk Buckle Sandals.” It’s almost surprising that Usman’s footwear are a legit pair of shoes and not some sort of jerry-rigged sandal fused with a sneaker that Usman concocted himself. While most fans in the Reddit thread made lighthearted jokes about the shoes, some speculated about the shoes’ origin. “A gift from Kimbally,” a commenter theorized. “She tricked him into believing they are new [sic] trend. Anything to keep those potential sister wives away.”
